	Put an end to popups!

Well, if you don't mind Ghengis, I did a little addition to the pantheon, mainly with the induction of Emperors for fun. (I didn't mess with anything that you wrote however... I'm just reposting it for easy access)

PANTHEON of APOLYTON

Deities
MarkG - Overgod and protector of all things. Slayer of Kittens.
Alexander's Horse - God of Trolls. Frequently in conflict with Ming.
Mao - God of Spammers. Also frequently in conflict with Ming.
Ming The Merciless - Slayer of spammers and trolls, Overlord of the dread realm Mingapulco.
rah - God of Animals and Beasts. Lord of ferrets, Brother of Ming (a title all of it's own) and Overlord of Rahlcatraz.
Imran Siddiqui - God of Conflict and Discord, Bringer of Chaos
Jay Bee - Currently under Research
Urban Ranger - Currently under Research
GhengisFarb - God of Procrastination and Lustful Desires, Patron of Uncompleted Tasks

Fallen Deities
Provost Harrison - Currently under Research

MINIONS
Dolph and Vito - The Blues Ferrets, often on "a mission from rah."

Emperors and Lesser Mortals

vmxa1- The Dread Demon-Emperor and Demon Lord of Upper Apolytonia, vmxa1 has his hordes of efreeti dressed in monocles and goggles and riding in tanks to do his bidding.

He is currently perparing to utilize his new Blitzkrieg battleplan to invade the Lower Belgae Regions with their great wealth of chocolates.

He is a major worshipper of the God of Chaos.

Colon- Emperor of the Lower Belgae Regions and grower of fine chocolates (his biggest export)

He tends to worship the All-Father MarkG and frequently allies himself with Dominikos (Emperor of Chokolat) and frequent free-trade distribution partner of Colon.

notyoueither- A benevolent Emperor of Greater Canadica and Outer Protectorates, notyoueither is well known for his promotion of the rahian religion and respects all four footed creatures.

El Awrence- The highly benevolent and rich Emperor of Inner Hispánica he defends his gold hordes and deposits tactfully with Aztec warriors and spiritwalkers patrolling the borders of his nation.

thers nothing special about any of the levels , evryone can attain them, jsut takes some longer than others. the really itneresting thing is, it seams that a lot of people once they reach deity level slow down their posting, takwe AH for example, he seems to have returned to the OT again now that he has been made a deity. his post count in on topic is about the lowest it has ever been.

only ming still pwoering on and tha tis due to his modding so many forums, not his spamming.

will be interested to see what happesn with jamskis ppd once he hits deity next month ....

AH has received many PCRs since he became a deity, so that doesn't really count. He still posts in Civ2 forums afaik.

Regarding Provost Harrison - the Fallen Deity: He became a deity. He insulted Fez. He received a huge PCR, leaving him well below deity level.

I don't expect it will happen untill May or June. I have a lot of guests coming and going in April, Easter holidays, etc etc... Hell, I may even get a job sometime, and then my ppd will sink a lot.

Actually, you know, doing this short list is really just training for the 'real' list- the Apolyton 100, I'm frankly seeing what new information about posters that I can get them to leak out about themselves so that I don't have to go searching for it

Ptwh. It took me at least/about 2 years to get to emperor and there were only 46 or so at that time. Emperor is a high status symbol. Heck, until 2001 OT posts counted and we still didn't have an over-population of emperors. It has only recently become massively devalued with spam.

I would argue the opposite. "Pulling a Mao" is still a phase heard today, long after OT posts stopped counting and well after the poster himself pretty much stopped posting here.

Almost all the newer emperors you see though are part of the democracy games, contributing to this gaming site by actually taking part in the games Poly covers. Sure, all the posts aren't high-quality analysis of the games internal mechanics, but for the most part they would not be classified as spam.
