there is some mucking with biq files.

I am happy to do the game files upgrade to get this game from 1.15 to 1.22

all it then needs is for each of you to load the 1.22 upgrade\

unfortunatley the upgrade 1.15 to 1.22, that I was trying, does not work...

My upgrade didnīt work too. Even worse, it destroyed my whole Civ-installation. Thanks to XP it took only 5 min. to restore the old configuration. Had to make a complete new installation to upgrade to 1.22 .

this game can not be upgraded yet

there is a suggestion, that if we do want we could restart it in v1.22, then we take all the same settings, we just start with several settlers, some workers, a warrior or 2 and some startup cash

Can someone refresh my memory? 1.15 required 1.12 to be previously installed to work, didn't it?
I'm trying to explain the patch issue to a friend so we can multiplay, and I can't remember this

Well, almost correct. There are two 1.15b patches out there, one requires the older patches to be there(1.12b,1.13b), the other is bigger and works directly on the 1.00 install.
