Civ3 I have never been able to finish. Too boring.

Edit: Ah yes, then there also was Wing Commander II, which I played for the first time some eight years ago. I was never able to finish the last mission. However last year I learned of a cheat code to make your ship vulnerable and I replayed the entire game just to see the ending.

There aren't many singleplayer games I play (non strategy). Jedi Outkast 2 is really the only one I can think of. I just got bored with it.

I still play it once in a while when I get stoned. Light sabres are cool!

How about games that you finished that you did not think you could? Fire Fight from Epic Games was one for me. You had a little jet and could not save during a mission. I really enjoyed that win.

oh yeah. I forgot about Call to Power. The public works seemed like a good idea. But I found the interface unworkable for me.

And I forgot about Morrowind. Although I have that on my hard drive right now. I may finish that one soon if I have the interest.

I've not finished many games, I suppose, but usually that's because they are crappy and I lose interest or have game-stopping bugs. Ultima IX: Ascension was both of these things, being the utterly unredeemable pile of stinking poo that it was. It was the only Ultima game I never finished.

Oh, yes. Call to Power 2. I liked Call to Power 1, for its new ideas, though some concenpts were strange - Wonders for example. But second game was just disaster. I didn't like it at all.

I have yet to finish XCom: Terror From the Deep.
After weeks of playing, I discovered there was a bug that prevented me from ever moving forward through the tech tree.

"Just apply this patch and start a new game..."

I didn't put in all that effort just to throw it away and hope another similar bug wouldn't render my new effort equally wasteful.

I can't finish Tetris - it keeps beating me!

I can't finish the super duper Ultimate Pro Challenge (or whatever it's called) on Pro Evo - the one where you have to do the fairly easy challenges all in a row and never make a mistake.

I never finished Knights of the Sky either. I absolutely loved the game, and can't remember but it may have made its way into my top 10, but there was a problem with it saving to my Amiga so I had to just play for hours in a row and see how far I could get before either dropping of exhaustion or being hit by a flukey n00b German pilot.

MORROWIND
multiple games of RISK and Monopoly have been sadly ended due to time constraints.
There was a really biznitchin game on the NES called Nightshade, which was really cool, but had NO way to save progress.
The Sims takes forever!!!

StarCraft. Ended about 1 1/2 hours into the game.
