For what it's worth, a check with google makes ikobo look like a real and effective solution. If it works, is it a scam to inform folk of same?? Because it is a first post, does that mean he hasn't been lurking for a great while, finally found something he thought he could contribute, and this was him trying to help??

Well see when I arrived here I didn't have any strategy or things like that to boast about either. Heck I didn't know how to play SMAC properly at the time. Fortunetaly there was a demo game starting so my first post was at the demo forum. Not to say it is any less suspicious, for quite some people were also proposing later that settlers should not be accepted into any teams because they might be DLs for infiltration purpose. So all I'm trying to say is that you got to give some time for people to prove themselves before you become real mean to them.

I mean it's ok to be mean to the deities, but not the settlers.

Well, I would be very flattered if I actually were a scammer, spammer, whatever (wow, it rhymes), but since I'm not one, I'm just offended. As someone said I believe, I was just looking around here and when I saw someone asking for help about transferring money I decided to jump in and give a hand. Boy, was I wrong. I'll make sure I won't try and help anyone in the future, I'm an inch away from being kicked out or being cursed by someone. Thanks a lot!
