but yes, i captured about 6 cities in the last few turns. mostly miserably placed..,

damn arabs travelled half the world to place a city in my area ... *tsk tsk*

i loaded up my last turns:
1100bc: 439 points
1075bc: 423 points
1050bc: 408 points

since 1050bc, i captured 3 more cities and built another one or two. and hooked up another luxury, which gives more happy faces and therefor more points

edit: you're right, it is quite a remarkable growth. after a very tedious start (no luxury nearby, no food bonus, not starting with pottery, etc), things look better now

Not for a few weeks really then my holidays will be happening at the end of the month.

Im sorry for the delays im causing but Im sure we all will have some interuptions over the summer months at times, holidays etc.

Im not happy to let some one else play turns for me in this game as its so far along now and I have several things ongoing within the game.

I also think we should all just be patient with eachother and settle for a resumption of very regular play after the main summer season, until then accepting that there may be some delays.

My busy time right now is due to me starting a new job recently. Ive been self employed as a builder since leaving school, but have decided to cease trading now and have taken a full time job. The busy period was due to me having to complete my last contract fast enough to start my new job on time. My problem now is being very tired from all the hours Ive been putting in recently but I expect this to improve steadily now over the coming weeks.
