So he started ...
A busload of travellers cruised across Chiron and suddenly the driver said, "Buckle your seat beats it's time to salom with the mindworms!"
In the Back rised an Old Man, wearing Plain Clothes ,showing Signs of a Long Worklife, who Spoke in an joyful Voice: : "Whoohoo! Go me!"
A tape recorded voice beamed over the speaker system, "Please put your seat in the upright position, return the tray back into position, buckle your seatbeat and try not to eat the peanuts now."
Suddenly, in the tongue of xenofungus outside of the bus, a hundred thousand writhing creatures appeared, tiny wormlike shapes.
But the Driver refused to stop for UoP Members and speeded up.
Inside the bus, a hissing rattle rose in HongHu's mind, pressing in on her consciousness,
... it is the worms, embrace them...
One of the mindworms sat in an unoccupied seat, and suddenly turned into Tassadar.
The bus unsuccesfully swerved left to dodge a mound of pink mindworms and plowed into the mound resulting in a shower of wriggling pink worms and a lots of pink goo on the right exterior of the bus.
The Old Man wearing Plain Clothes became concerned: "Comrade, are you alright? Your face is as gray as my clothes."
Tassadar began to sing nursery rhymes.
"This is the driver speaking, we are experiencing mindworms problems and if you have a weapon, feel free to shoot the mindworms."
"NOOOO!! Save the mindworms!!" Said a greenpeace activist smoking his "herbal" medicine along the road.
"Unamerican COMMIE!" Tassadar yelled to the activist.
HongHu stood up from her seat, her mind reached out to the worms, embracing the jarring cries from the worms that suddenly flowed toward her ...
Comrade Vev, who still has his earphone on and listening to music, is oblivious to the commontion but he thought he saw a small boy standing behind a mound of worms waving at him.
For a split second, Comrade HongHu felt a sharp pain in her head, then her mind started to fly to the sky, while all the other passengers in the bus staring in awe about the upflying mindworms, and she saw, no she felt a little boy's mind that is dancing with the mindworms.
Tassadar took off his clothings and jumped after the mindworm in the sky yelling "NOOOO!!!!"
The Ol' Man looked in the General Direction of the Boy while mumbling: "Who's your Daddy?"
"I come to bring all of you home ... ", HongHu heard the little boys muffled voice, accompanying the worm voices that merged into a hum and expanded to fill her mind, calm and immense.
As reality continues to loose its grip, a giant box of chocolates that is as big as house appeared on the road and the driver slammed on the brakes narrowly avoiding a messy collision.
'My Home is where the Hive lies', thought the Driver.
But the Hive never lies...- Jam
The Pravda is out there.
*bad 60's sci-fi music plays*
The giant box of chocolates has a message mysteriously appearing on it saying, "Eat Me".
And the Worms do just that.
(With the owner of the Box O' Choco)
As the mindworms collapsed from the sky toward the chocolate box, Comrade HongHu collapsed to her seat, the song in her mind was gone, and to her surprise the bus was now empty.
Then Chairman Yang woke up wondering what a strange Dream he had.
Did Chairman Yang dreamed that he became a mindworm, or did a mindworm dreamed that it became Chairman Yang?
Or did the mindworm blossumed into a locust?
Locusts are evil he thought.
But mindworms are even worse.
Evil but intelligent mindworms.
but very sweet if cooked.
Mmmmh, caramelised mindworms.
Crispy on the Outside.. Delicious Inside.
Golden brown goodness.
Suddenly the TV turned on and said "BREAKING NEWS: Poly is down again".
Frustrated crowds begin to riot on the streets hurling spam and starting flame wars.
"POLY TO THE PEOPLE!!!" The crowd began to yell as Tassadar waved the red flag.
Nobody had noticed a couple hundreds of mindworms were approaching.
This time the mindworms were ready and are using evil Claire Forlani clones infested with mindworms ready to irresistably lure and pounce on any unsuspecting male (and maybe females too).
but luckily for the People, the Chairman was sharp as ever.
Chairman Voltaire then sharply ordered all the cloned Comrade Forlani gather at his personal office.
Achmed wanted to help but got caught in a bizzare Freak accident involving several Delphins.
Hearing the frustrated cry for help from him, a cloned Comrade Forlani quickly came to rescue.
The clone Claire Forlanis is swayed by the charisma of the Chairman and believes in his cause.
Suddenly the Sky cleared, the Windworms seemed vanished and the People rejoiced.
Far greater dangers lurk, but they are safely contained away.
But the cloned Comrades Forlani Claire stayed...
And snow fell amongst the mindworms transforming the landscape into a Christmas wonderland filled with the joy and laughter of merry mindworms and their infested hosts.
And if you were quiet you could listen to the MIndworms singing their Battle Song : 'Last Xmas I ...'
"...gave you terrible nightmares as I ate your brain whist leaving you alive to enjoy the incomparable once-in-a-lifetime experience" but very out of tune, and in a reggae version.
With the music accompanied by calypso drums as well.
