Hiyas, I'm still playing NS. I've been steadily developing my nation over the past three years. My nation is Sharina and here's its basic stats.
Economy: All-Consuming
Civil Rights: Excellent

Description:
The Republic of Sharina is a huge, economically powerful nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 482 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Social Welfare and Social Equality are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 73%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Beef-Based Agriculture.
The nation's first space rocket -- sponsored by Pepsi and shaped like an enormous soda bottle -- is being developed, the nation's gigantic air force is both respected and feared, teenagers across the country are celebrating the defeat of a national curfew bill, and the nation has opened its arms to an influx of refugees. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate. Sharina's national animal is the bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the liana.

Notes:
* = Sharina was translocated into a Earth / Universe where a lot of magic is prevalent, through an accident with experiments in Quantum technology. The universe Sharina is now in has many magical regions like the ones from video games (Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc.) or books (Shannara and Middle Earth - LOTR) exist.
Sharina is the only technologically advanced and non-magic using nation / civilization in the Magic Universe.
** = Based off the Sliders TV show which aired in the 90's. More information can be found on a search in Google. Basically it allows me to travel between parallel universes and Earth's, enabling me to interact with virtually any nation on NS.
*** = Giant strides are being taken to modernize automobile technologies. Soon, automobiles would be average tech for my time era.
