R2D: The peace terms are that you surrender everything to me. Gold, techs, cities, workers (or rather, those that I have not captured yet...) and a AAR of this game from the beginning. You can carry on resisting, but there seems little point...

Yep... Conqueror had one of the best starting positions, if not the best! With only a small border, it could become tricky to attack you, while I was open from all sides... only my capital didn't have any borders (except with water)

you must abandon all of your cities (not give them to me or jshelr), gold and workers and be disbanded and traded. Techs are to be given to me and jshelr.

Hope you are taking the back pain seriously. Lots of my friends have failed to get better and seen their ability to play sports and enjoy life deteriorate more than you would think a little back pain would cause.

The back injury seemed like a fluke and cleared up on its own. I currently live with a family member who suffers chronic back pain, so I know how much it can ruin your life. I really don't know what to do about it except keeping weight down, doing situps, and watching posture while lifting/sitting.

The thing that worries me now is problems with my knees and the sports I play...

I know what you mean about sports injury. Ran marathons for years and gradually the little injuries piled up. At this point, it's golf and the exercise bike

There is a family of back exercises that work great. Sit ups are definitely not in the picture when feeling pain. One is bringing the knees tightly up to the chest. Another is lying flat and pressing the small of the back flat to the floor -- really, even though it sounds weird. You might find these at a med web site.

About the sit-ups, I meant I do them as preventative thing. Strong abs are supposed to help with back support...

Reg musket kills vet MI, loses 2hp, and is promoted,
vet knight kills vet musket, 1hp lost,
reg warrior kills elite archer, 2hp lost,
vet pike kills reg warrior, ledoto is captured, and the "Fragile Spanish are wiped out"...

damn it!! My knights had to leave the Arab harems for nothing. morale is going to be low. It will get lower when the Egyptians turn to their Portugese problem eventually, I suppose.

Anyway, well played R2D. Our backward civs will struggle to reinvent the wheels you already knew.
