So Theseus, did you get 2430BC? If so, could you please replay and resend to ZX? If not, get UnO to get it to you.


...or it could just be quicker to continue with 2430BC. I'm sending this one on to Rho anyway. We'll see which is quicker

So it's somewhere in between Theseus and Zargon I guess. I'd say that's an email error then. Theseus did you email out 2390bc since as the last player in the order that is what your save would be dated once you finished it?

Glad we got this sorted. It's easy to save as the wrong file, or send the wrong file... usually I'm told straight away where I've screwed up though. The rest of us just weren't paying attention.

Increase Your PM Length

Something I do that usually avoids that. In the 'saves' folder I make folders for each of my PBEMs with subfolders called 'old files' and 'sent files'. When a save comes in I stick it into the folder for that PBEM and play it from there. Then when it saves the game, the save file automatically goes into the saves folder and avoids the mess of having multiple files from the same game in one folder.

Every few days I clean it up and move the sent files to the correct folder for each PBEM and move the files I receive to the correct 'old files' folder.

It's a little extra work, but the save folder is always clean so there aren't any mix-ups.
