"Any more?" asked Pave
"Aye," replied Frozzy, "E 'ad long hair, but when 'e turned away, it were gone. There were something shiny, and then 'e kicked me in."
"Probably the moon," scoffed Guynemer, adjusting his pyjamas.

And we all agree, that my avatar isn't quite shiny, right?

Well, Rah and GJ's votes aren't needed...
Chapter 10 - I Strongly Doubt It
"Arr!" cried Jonny, "It be GhengisFarb!"
"Aye!" agreed most of those present, on the slightly shaky grounds that the black spot was painted on.
"If that was the case," argued Jon Miller, "Why didn't it wash off in the sea water?"
"Search me house!" cried Ghengis, "Ye'll find no colours of the waterproofed variety!"
But it was too late, the votes were cast. GhengisFarb was dragged to the town square and hung by the neck untill dead.
"Well," commented Guynemer, "We could 'ave just got lucky."

That night Jonny addressed his rapidly shrinking crew.
"We 'ave ter get off this island, boys," he stated, "Ev'y night we be spending 'ere, another one o'us is dyin' in the sack."
"Aye," agreed GJRamesy, "Tis the Island of Death, an' no mistake."
The pirates huddled closer together and sipped at their grog. They had all shaved their heads clean so they shone in the lamplight of Rah's tavern. At the other end of the bar, Spaced, Chaunk and Jon Miller had done the same, and were being served by an equally shaven headed Rah. No one wanted to be the one with the longest hair.
The pirates called the other four over, and they all began to puzzle over the map.
"If only they'd marked the spot with an X" complained Chaunk.
"Do ye think we really do that?" replied Pave.
"Aye," said Snowfire, "Even I would be able to find t'loot wi' no confusion, t'were that the case."
Although they examined the map for hours, they found no clues as to what its secrets were.
"It must be a treasure map," insisted Spaced Cowboy, "Or why would it be cut in halves and hidden?"
"Only the dead know," replied Theben, "And I don't want to be askin' them."

The next morning, as they had all feared, another pirate was missing.
Hercules was found floating in the by now familiar sack in the harbour, a slightly oval black spot on the palm of his right hand.
"Who be strong enough to put 'im in a sack?" asked GJRamsey
"Perhaps he'd got some help," suggested Rah.
"Or perhaps he's usin' that," said Spaced Cowboy, pointing at the small loading crane by the docks, "How do yer think I get me cows on an' off this island?"
"Who else knows 'ow ter use this crane?" asked Snowfire?
"Anyone can use it," replied Chaunk, "Its dead simple."
Jonny looked thoughtful.
"That crane," he said, "Is made out o' timber an' rope."
"Aye," agreed Jon Miller.
"We could fix the Apolyton an' take away the killer's tools..." suggested GJRamsey.
Everyone smiled and started dismantling the crane.
Its voting time!
