I'm talking about what I guess, for the sake of friggin argument we could classify as "classic" fruit. Fruit that is traditionally shown in books, and movies, and tv shows, and sold in large chain supermarkets.

And you do define 'classic' fruit? We only get tangerines once in a while, does that mean it is 'classic' fruit?

ANy time you brand something there are genrally fruits that cross the line, and straddle it. I hardly think that Mangos get close to that. I haven't done any ruit research, all I have is what has been pumped into my head. I wouln't call tangerines calssic fruit. Did you even read the definition of classic fruit??

I'm not a fan of the sweet fruits, in general. Although, I'm a sucker for pineapple. Literally.

No, i'm not trying to say that at all. The original discussion revolved around how mangos are more of an accessory flavor in drinks, rather than being a fruit that is eaten more on their own.
I'm not saying thta people don't eat mangos, I'm just saying that they are more commonly used for litle fruit drinks.

Perhaps in your neck of the woods, but not around the world. Ask people in Asia if they drink mango in drinks rather than eat it.

Screw that, I'm talking about it in apurely American sense. I guess I'm some igonarnt douche, but oh well. Every where that I've been in AMerica, I 've always seen mangos as more of a juice accessory rather than a fruit alone.
