If points count for hanging, they should count, period.

I think it's a fair change. However the way to do it say "Ok folks I think we should change this, and if agreed by the group then we change, starting with this round". You can't just backdate it, it's ridiculous, even if I do benefit.

I'll just backdate to the original rules and scores and re-propose your change next time it's my go.

Actually, I suggested it the last time it happened. I decided the wait was long enough.

I think either we count the points (all of them) or we don't. I don't think it's fair to count some of them and not all.

As I recall, the "five letter minimum" rule was retroactive too, and that didn't cause any problems.
