Like this, quote me.

/me* joncha wonders if this will actually work.

Chapter Three – The custard plot thickens!
The death of Dr Watson had not stopped the killings aboard the Apolyton, and everybody became more nervous. In order that the passengers could continue to ease their cares in drink, Jonny was told not to carry any more glasses in case the ship was left without anything to drink from. Skanky didn’t seem too concerned at this eventuality, but given that he would be at the front of the rush to grab bottles, then that’s understandable. However, many of the detectives coming into the bar to cast their votes gave Skanky strange looks and this made him uneasy too. Mr Holmes in particular was making notes while looking in his direction, and despite Jonny’s attempt’s to read over his shoulder (the potplant disguise he was wearing at the time prevented him from getting a good look), the notes remained a mystery. Unfortunately for him, his interest in the bartender had caused many people to suspect Sherlock of being the mafia.
Once everyone had assembled, Captain Nuclear Master ordered Geomodder to sound the gong and began to count the votes. Many of the voters were still half asleep so those who could be woken were shaken and taken into the bar to vote, and the others left to sleep, in the hope that they would not cause any of those present to go to their deaths by their abstention.
But once those assembled had fallen silent, Nuclear Master announced that there was no need for a vote as ljcvetko had already identified himself as the murderous mafia. The captain pondered this strange outburst, held the vote anyway and declared Sherlock to be spookily prescient. The protests of other passengers worried about his mental health were cut short by a flying handbag, and his last sight was a pair of sensible brown shoes as he sank to the floor of the bar and the crowd moved in to finish him off. Once again, lucky Zopperoni had the task of depositing the body in the Nile, under the careful stewardship of Geomodder. Careful to be seen getting things done, but not so careful as to ever get his hands dirty. Maybe that was why Zopp and his fellow deck hands used to laugh at him behind his back for washing them so often.
As the Apolyton moved steadily upstream, it was possible to make out some kind of festival taking place on the sands on the banks of the mighty river. People were dancing around with somewhat more skill than Rasputin usually did, throwing streamers and lighting fireworks. None of the detectives were too sure why these desert folk were celebrating, and none of the crew members felt like letting them in on it, hoping that if they were busy trying to puzzle out the reason for the celebrations then they might not keep following the crew around as they did their jobs, and asking strange questions.
It was a wonderful sight, and cheered the detectives somewhat, but this happy occasion was soon spoiled when Lord Peter Wimsey had to dive on top of Miss Marple to save her from being hit by a loose firework heading straight for her. It exploded in the middle of the deck, far enough away not to hurt anyone, and his Lordship apologised for his untowardness, and raised the shaken old lady to her feet. She returned to her cabin, supported by the Earl of Octavian and Jim Rockford.
The others decided that it was probably a good idea to leave the deck in case it happened again and one of them was not so lucky. Columbo took Theben Wallingford III and Rasputin to the games room, and they joined HongHu for a game of Da Bai Fen, interrupting her game of King Albert solitaire. They passed a pleasant three quarters of an hour at the card table, and then retired to their cabins to dress for dinner. Many of the other passengers had taken the time to have a brief snooze, having had restless nights with the mafia aboard.
The crew had no such respite from their labours, and as Zopperoni was sweeping the deck, he came across the open door of Cabin 23, through which he saw the body of Snowfire lying in the middle of the floor. Not daring to enter the room, he rushed to fetch Geomodder, who called the detectives together and entered the room first. Upon inspection, their inexpert medical judgement told them that he had been stabbed about 107 times with a ballpoint pen. They were left with this thought because the pen in question was left in his left eye socket (or what is left of it). ( )
It looked suspiciously like the pen that Sherlock Holmes had been using earlier to make notes in his notebook, but then it was a very common type of pen and Sherlock was of course dead.
Walking away from the scene of the crime towards the Captain’s meeting in the dining room, the ship’s purser kicked something into the river. It looked like a wet tennis ball, but didn’t roll in a straight line, bumping along over the side of the boat with a white flash. He thought nothing more of it, and continued on his way to the Captain’s latest meeting. This time, rather than 24 hours, the captain gave them all 65 hours to decide upon the mafia suspect, and said that everyone would return to the dining room to announce their votes.
