Picture in sigs get annoying, I like Apolyton, b/c it is one of the few places that doesn't have picture in sigs.
Pic in sigs are nice, b/c they are uber expressive avatars, but people cna go overboard w/ them, and then you have lie 20 in of some stupid graphic of a nime guy licking his lips, jsut so someone could write "okay". It gets annoying.

i think one pic with the max being something like 500 x 200 wouldn't be too outrageous. or hell. maybe a max of like 300 x 100 or something.

No pics in sigs.

I cast my vote for OT post counts. Since OT page views count towards total 'Poly page views, imho OT posts should count anyway. But... the owners disagree and I'm cool with that.

However, since some of us are now paying $18+/year to maintain this site, a bit of consideration to the proposal of allowing Plus members OT posts count would be appreciated.

I can't really think of any extra features, I pretty much plan to sign up but not until after I've moved to my new place in July - I want to make sure my internet access there will be adequate for the forum.

Remember, Markos made it clear posters won't be considered differently even if they pay for subscription. We'll continue to be the mods little defenseless playthings

And thus, with OT posts counting, there will be much more spam and +1mongering than there is today. And the mods would be much, much more stringent on spam than they are now. I don't want this.

apolyton isn't unique in that aspect. i know of several sites that don't allow pictures in signatures. like i said: some thing modestly sized could work.

Whatever, I guess it isn't unique, but I still kind of like how it doesn't have pic in sigs, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to jsut try it out.
Either way, a bigger way of being bale to automatically have a picture in your post would be cool.

Hm... MarkG, I'm using pop-up blocker, but i can disable it for this site. If these pop-ups would not try to install java-applets i would probably deactivate popup blocker for this site...
