I thought that by wearing my color basically on my sleave I would challenge your preconceived notions about blacks. I realize that in reality many of my preconceived notions needed to be challenged.
So I came to feel that only half of my login name really represents me. The part that I feel is the desire for all men regardless of race, religion, sex, gender, and etc. Should be able to live together in peace and prosperity.

I'm not sure about the pigs part, but I think you can be everything else without seeing black people as inferior.

The best Imperialists, the British, fought with mostly Sepoy battalions in India.

So imperialists, to be successful, need to gain the trust of the people.

The European governments took advantage of the locals.
The British were Imperialist I am and will always be anti-imperialist in my views. The British used the Sepoy battalions to conquer India and etc. Then they forced the sell of opium produced by the India company to China. That does not make them the good guys.
I'm just saying that I like the U.K. and it's people but I hate the policies of the past.

No, they did plenty of things wrong. That doesn't mean that they thought black men were inferior. Some did, but these folks made the worst administrators, and from the point of successful imperialism, they hindered rather than helped the cause.

When I think about what your last few posts, I'm not clear why you are posting.
It makes no difference whether they are successful or unsuccessful Imperialists.
It does not matter who they tricked into trusting them.
The end result is that Imperialism ultimately causes a minimum of one groups resources to be usurped by another group. This is wrong period.

In Utah, where I grew up it's obviously, predominantly white. We had one black kid in our class.

You would think that, according to your preconcieved notions, that he would be somewhat ostracized. In fact, he was the most popular person in the school.

Successful Imperialism , ought to be regarded as the model of Imperialism, rather than the ones that fail.

I think Imperialism is more about the exchange rather than the withdrawal of resources. Both groups benefited greatly, except it's unfashionable to talk about Imperialism in this way.

His life experience is different from mine. It maybe due to location or due to generation. It could also be due to the fact that he grew up in your town.

I grew up in a majority black area. My understanding of white culture had a lot to do with what my parents went through and the local history. Joining the Navy was a shellshock. For me and the people around me. A large portion of the whites around me did have preconceived notions about blacks. It was common for me to hear "Why do brothers do this" or "You people that"
One of the most glaring things that annoyed me was whenever a white person would tell you about someone they would always "this guy" if he was white. If he was anything else he would be "this black guy" or etc. In little ways I was reminded of my difference.
The other thing is that most of the whites I have come into contact do actually lean towards the right.
