Seriously, my friend is a computer whiz who works at home by finding information out about people. He pulls in serious dollars. Maybe you should try it. Unless you don't like spying on the common man.

Why don't you stick to webdisign and forget about the management thing? Or can't you be one without the other?
Good management is a difficult thing, and as with many jobs, you should have a feel with it to do it really right, and to enjoy the job you do, which is IMO the most important thing of a job (save the ability to earn a descent income).


But first enjoy your Florida payed holiday for a little while, and take this opportunaty to figure out which way you want to go. Let the lessons you learned over the past time sink in reeeal slow.

I was one of 13 partners in a legal firm for some years and, apart from discovering that I don't have management skills either, the only thing I learned about managing is how to use the two or three hours from 3.30am in the morning to get in a really satisfying bit of worrying.

Good luck with finding work. It sounds as though you are willing to be flexible - there is work to be had. Be as confidant and energetic as you can and something will turn up.

You could always practice management by organising a group of male strippers. That has the merit of being traditional in your circumstances.

Was thinking the same thing. I get about €800 a month, it used to be slightly more though.
I do live alone so it's it's not all that much, my rent is about €440, that don't leave too much for other things.
