The Volleyball gives you more stat improvements. It's better than the mosquito when you're in an area where you're health isn't taking much hits.

Clan created. Once we get a few members, I'll promote some other people up to Deity.

I've already bought the calendar (+3 adventures/day) and meat tree (+500 meat/day to all members. Not sure if it has to be replenished.)

FWIW, the rank system:

10+: Deity
8-9: Emperor
7: King
6: Prince
5: Warlord
4: Chieftain
3: Settler

I've have a 4 pound one even though I've only used it for about 50 turns. I can't wait for my TT to get his Empathy thingy to buff it.

The only other thing you need is the Volleyball (aside from the tooth I can give/lend you) and you can get that from the hermit.

About the clan...how do you join?

Go to the clan recruiter and apply, of course.

As a precaution, I'd like to have some kind of registry of all our characters. That way, we don't have multis from another clan joining, stealing all our stuff, and leaving (which happened once to my previous clan).

Good. Get your ass up to lvl8, so I don't have to do all the promotions myself.

Edit: Some explanation about rank privs. All the privs are cumulative.

Settler: +500 meat/day and +3 adv/day
Chieftain: Can view activity log
Warlord: Can post announcements
Prince: Can approve new members and is exempt from karma reqs for taking stuff from stash.
King: Can boot members.
Emperor: Can promote members.
Deity: Can buy stuff using clan funds and can initiate clan attacks.

I did it twice and only got 2 and 5 foritude. Adventuring in other places can get me that much already when I do get in fights.

Actually, I'm guessing it varies with level. If I got up to a high enough level, I could blow 200 adventures and not even gain one muscle point. But that's a loooooooong way off.

How do you earn so much meat? Does it increase drastically as you level? Because I've only been getting ~50 or so for hard fights.

Leprechaun familiars help, as well as the more difficult encounters later on. (With a lvl20 leprechaun at the Icy Peak, I've been getting more than 600 meat/yeti. Without, it's still 300/yeti. There are some other quest rewards that give you tons of meat.)

I haven't even seen over 600 meat total yet. I'm still low level, but my ventures only net around 6 to 25 meat.
