President Alex Jesaulenko stood behind the dais in the centre of the oval. Before him were the troops of the Republican Guard. After they had settled down from all their mad cheering “Jezza, Jezza , Jezza”.
The President spoke.
“Greetings my fellow Boondi people, The Blues are the Best" he shouted. (This referred to the colour of the Headband worn by the Boondi SAS) .
"As you all know the SAS troops have been in the northern mountains for months. We have been preparing to retake what is rightfully ours. For too long the Infidels from the north have prospered from what is rightfully ours, the minerals and wealth should be ours. Our people should be prospering from these riches not the Westerners.
I am here to report to you that 3 Batteries of Medium Artillery were air lifted into positions in the mountains on our Border with Western Apolyton last month and also that Boondi's heavy artillary is still 1-2 week away from being in position. As they require road transport. We have also moved 4 squadrons of AH-64A/D Apache fast attack helicopter and 2 squadrons of of AH-64A/D heavy gunship helicopters into the area. Further to this deployment 2 squadrons of UH-60L Blackhawk attack/troop carring helicopters and 2 squadrons of support helicopters including MH47SD Chinooks, OH58-D Kiowas and UH-60Q Balckhawk have been assigned to the region. If needed we can move more of our Squadrons up there.
I will also confirm 2 of our infantry battalions 1 RBR and 3 RBR (Para) are already patroling the border, while 4 other 2 RBR, 5/7 RBR (Mech), 4 RBR (Comando) and 6 RBR (Mobile inf) are mobilising now.One tank regiment of M1A2’s are dug in and well fortified in the mountains. With two more regiments on standby.
We have at this stage on alert 2 Cavalry reigiments, 1 Combat Engineer Regiment (CER) and 2 Combat Support Service Battalions (CSSB)
Further I will add , as of 3 weeks ago, after very sucessful trials, we have completed the introduction into service the BOONLAV, an 8 wheel drive infantry combat vehicle to complement our Cavalry Regiments and Mechanised Infantry.
The Boondi Airforce has been given a B Priority Rating for alert status. Ready to fly at moments notice.
With our current mobility 2 Infantry Battalions, 1 Cav Regt, 1 CER, and 1 CSSB can be in the front line within 72 hours notice, with the remaining 'on alert' forces within 7-10 days.
We will recover what is ours, we will remove them once and for all , they will see that we are too strong to be toyed with, they may well have won the last war , but we will not be pushed back again. The world will recognize what is rightfully ours. To The Greater Glory of Boondi, Go the Blues !!!!!!"
The crowd erupted into raptures of calling “Jezza” again then began singing the national anthem
“We are the Navy blues, the old Dark Navy blues, we are the land that will never let you down, we are the only people that old Boondi knows,…………………..”

Last night, after the Boondi Nation failed to respond to the Western Apolyton Governments diplomatic appeals, A State of War was annoucned between our two nations.
We believe that the area in contention is rightfully ours and is home to over 600,000 Western Apolytons. We will not give up the homes of these loyal people.
Western Apolyton armed forces have entered the town of Catherin to set up defences against the Boondi Hordes.
Last reports state that the Old Blue SAS from Boondi had been seen crossing the border.

The largest evacuation in Western Apolyton history began this morning as the Eastern half of the city of Catherin were evacuated to a safer distance from the border. Schools, halls and even family homes have been opened up to house the displaced. Over 250,000 Residents are being moved. The streets are chaotic as trucks and buses head West and the military head East.
Artillery firing from across the border has intensified with many large sections of Catherin now destroyed or on fire.
The WA army has moved approx 150,000 troops into the area and are entrenching themsleves.
The WA Airforce is patroling the skys but cant take on the many flights of Attack Helicopters crossing the border.
This is a dark day for Western Apolyton.

The President of Boondi released this statement today.
“If the people of West Apolyton withdraw from Catherin leaving a 30 km radius around the city vacant, the armies of Boondi will cease hostile activities and reclaim what is rightfully theirs. If they fail to do so, then we have no choice but to take back what is ours by force.
The Boondi government will give the people of Catherin 12 hours to acknowledge this communication and 4 days to evacuate the city before our troops descend from the mountains. Failure to acknowledge will result in increased mobilisation.”
Boondi has stepped up the mobilisation of its military with 2 Divisions now on standby and ready to move in 72 hours notice.
A further 5 Divisions have been put on notice to move any time after that.
Boondi has also mobilised 2 of its battalions of SAS who can be inserted by air within 6 hours notice.
5 Tank Divisions and 2 Aviation Divisions are readying for deployment.
“Boondi will not be forced back again. We have suffered the humiliation of defeat for the last time. We have no choice but for conquer or be conquered.”

Boondi urges it neibours to remain neutral. This is an old fued that will end now. We do not wish to bring in countries that have no place in our buisness. Rest assured when this matter is settled, all hostilities will cease.
West Apolyton has been give ample time to evacuate the area of civilians. If they fail to do so it is their doing not Boondi's

Guardinia's response:
Guardinia will not tolerate these acts of aggression and wanton attacks on the civillian population in the disputed territories. We demand an immediate cease fire, followed by a withdrawal of all military forces from both sides within 48 hours. Guardinian forces will then move in to patrol the border area and monitor the cease fire until neutral peacekeepers accepted by both sides can be brought in. The matter will then be brought before the Apolyton Court for a peaceful resolution.
Failure to cooperate by either party could have serious consequences. |

Ceroo also urges the two nations to solve their problem diplomatically. Perhaps mediation via the court will be the most sensible option.
Allegedly a statement has been sent to Al Mastifi officials requesting them not to supply weapons, as well as reminding them where Cerooan territorial waters are and not to disrupt merchant routes in the Ceroo Sea and across the Apolyton Sudic area.
And of course, Ceroo is prepared to assist Guardinia should any reasonalble request be made.
