Just noticed Andydog's PM to me : Sorry for slow reply, but i havent visited apolyton for a _long_ time and dont check my gaming mail that often, either. Just pure luck that i happened to visit apolyton now that i seem to be needed

But: as i recall there should be all resources on all continents. I remember double-checking that back when i noticed the lack of saltpeter on one continent. Maybe the Iron has 'exhausted' and a 'new source' of iron has been found somewhere else ?

Unfortunately i dont have the scenario anymore, lost it due a hard disk failure i had some months ago, but i should have the piece of paper somewhere where the master pass and other passes are written. (no gurantee if i'll find it, but i'll take a look).

Interesting thought on the Iron exhausting and appearing elsewhere..

How should we handle that, we could agree to always trade Chris Iron, and if he was at war with the player with double iron, to have that player trade it to a neutral 3rd party, who would trade his own Iron to Chris.

Or we could call it bad luck and charge Chris to the Iron

Now that i surfed around Apolyton for a while, i think that i can remember the password to this game

Havent used the multitool for a long time, but if it's updated to be compatible with latest C3C version, i could try checking the game with it, if someone sends me some of the saves to conqueror AT mbnet DOT fi.

Its been many many months since i last used the multitool and back then it wasnt compatible with 1.22 saves - but i suspect Gramphos has updated it.

I propose we hold the save as is until Conq has reported back - we do not want to play ahead.

The other option is to carry on, and if it is a fast process ask Conq to update our new, latest, save before carrying on.

Perhaps if Conq can add Iron, he should also double all the resources up - two of each type of resource per player per island... to avoid any exhausting in the future.

Chrisius, i loaded the save with master password, and you seem not to have explored enough yet to see the iron : northern part of your continent is still unexplored ?

Didnt load the game yet with multitool, but i'm quite confident that the iron will be found there

Now opened the save with multitool - 100 % confirmation that there is Iron on all islands, including Charisius's one.

Charisius - explore your whole island - you'll find the Iron.

Really ?? I thought id discovered the whole island, there is desert tiles to my north which I have not bothered with because they look like coastal squares.

is that where you mean ?? North of my capitol ??
