The only reason I start up Civ2 these days is to test all sorts of things. Very rarely I continue playing a game I started for testing purposes. That usually ends within a few hours when I get bored, turn on cheat mode and wipe out the opposition.

oerdin, EU2 is a clickfest, not TBS Yes I bought it, never could finish a game. Some games crashed, some games just got unmanageable.

Is the only way to set up a game with offtopic peeps through personal mail one on one and through the forums for each seperate game? I've often thought it would be a lot of fun to civ with the other off topic posters again but I would think a big chunk of them only check the off topic forum (maybe because that's the only forum I check in between purchases of software we have forums for).

c3c when I get the time, which doesn't happen lately. I started my current game months ago.

I really enjoy playing Combat Mission, but again, I don't have the time.

I've never played Civ MP. Seems to me that people would just sit around waiting for others to make their moves.

As if the graphics of Civ 2 weren't cartoony already...

I play SMAC, Civ 2, and at least once a year I try to play civ. The original civ has this crazy, crazy atmosphere that I just can't deny. Plus, I love building the civ castle the most.

I still play Civ 3 occasionally. I have a game going right now.

I play EU2 and HOI more.

But I don't really have the time to play many games these days. I'm putting off buying Victoria because I know I won't get anything else done.

If the off topic people are still interested in seriously playing any of the games supported here, they usually post in the appropriate forums. If you are really interested n playing any of the Civ games... just post in the right forum.
