Here's my prediction of the game.

Rooney gets a red card from a very disputable situation. By this time Croatia already have five or six yellow cards. English patients on the stadium lose - patience.

Game crawls to a halt with frequent fouls. A fight almost erupts between players when a Croatian defender kicks Beckham in the groin, apparently for no reason. Referee didn't see it.

Owen scores the goal for 1:1

English press on, Croats defend.

Another red card for England, this time for Beckam.

Britain is traditionally unfriendly as a nation to Croatia, this goes back to before WWII and continues to this day (UK plays the bad cop in our EU negotiations).

But not entire UK is the enemy ofcourse we respect the Scots and I saw a poll that says 70% of them will root for Croatia come monday so this is mutual.

I doubt it. His shooting hasn't been great, and he doesn't get the up-front ball that Owen and Rooney get. I doubt he'll get more than 1 or 2 all tournament, at the most. Rooney would have been a goodbet for top scorer, I've seen 25/1 for him. I'd say Henry or Van Nislerooy are most likely, but there odds aren't good.

They'll come on as subs at least. Much as Greece are a lesser team than any other team we could be facing, we still need to make sure we win. I think a couple of minutes will be enough for Beckham to curl it into the back of the Greek net again, and then we can just relax and cruise to the semis
