Save to Andy. Actually sent some hours ago, when I had an evening to look forward too, before I managed somehow to delet my boot.ini and ntldr file from my primary harddisk. Much messing about with win98 partitions dug out from the 'Ol 166, and much re-installing of XP over that, and much cursing at the vagaries of IDE, and much much cursing at the un-removable nature of my CD-burner's jumper, we have a working system again.
Although the drive letters of all my HD's have changed, which has screwed a lot of my shortcuts, but HEY - let's not knock it not it's back..
Mike - BEWARE, computer problems would seem to be due for you now, what with Andy and I being messed around with this week
