Give me a tall one, I have just been de facto relieved of military service In the Finnish Defence Forces, of course, not in the Spartan Federation. They'll call me up again in 2006 and if my condition is unchanged (most likely) the coveted "C paper" will be in my hands.

And what do you need to have to be relieved of your patriotical duty in Finland?

In my case it was simple, doctors thought I couldn't carry a large backpack.

It's not really my back, but a length difference in my legs. I'm happily tramping around with medium loads, but have to watch out on flat terrain. Rolling terrain is usually no problem.

I'm not saying you should elect to do it if you don't have to. I was just thinking because of your back you can't walk or carry things, why doesn't the system just get you to do civil service instead, unless your disability prohibits that too?
