Chapter 3
“Lord Vader, have you extracted from the Princess the information I needed?”
“No Sir. She is resistant to any form of interrogation.”
“Perhaps she would respond to an alternative form of persuasion. Bring her to me”
Admiral Tarkin turned to one of his aides. “Prepare the weapons.”
Darth Vader returned with the Princess.
“Now Princess Leia. I am tired of your refusal to speak. I believe a small demonstration is in order. Prepare to witness the full power of this battle station unleashed on your home planet of Alderaan.”
“No! Please spare us, Admiral Tarkin! We are peaceful. We have no weapons.”
“Would you prefer another target? A military target? Then name the system! Where is your rebel base?”
“Dantooine. It’s Dantooine.”
“There. See, Lord Vader, she can be reasonable. Commence with the operation; you may fire when ready.”
“What?”
“You're far too trusting. Dantooine is too remote to make an effective demonstration - but don't worry; we'll deal with your rebel friends soon enough.”
“No! Please No!”

Meanwhile aboard the Millennium Falcon.
“Master Obi-Wan, You have been training me for the last couple of months. I feel the Force is strong in me. Am I a Jedi now?”
“Young Luke, I made the same mistake once. I was proud; I thought I could train Jedis as well as Master Yoda. But I failed. Darth Vader is my ultimate failure.”
“Darth Vader was your padawan?”
“Yes Luke. I decided then I would never try to train another Jedi. You must see Master Yoda to complete your training. But first we must make a stop at Alderaan. You have a sister there.”
“I have a sister?”
“Princess Leia Organa. She was hidden, like you. Hidden from Darth Vader and the Emperor.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi paused. He then spoke.
“I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.”
“I felt the same thing master. What can it be?”
“Alderaan is no more, Luke.”
At that moment the Millennium Falcon dropped out of hyperspace. It was immediately caught by a tractor beam and pulled inside the death star. Once inside, Obi-Wan Kenobi using the Force made sure no man sees the ship when it gets out. But Luke Skywalker sensed his sister was in danger. He didn’t want to leave without her.
In the meantime, Admiral Tarkin had already issued an order for her execution. Lord Vader took his light sabre and struck gjramsey with it. Luke appeared at the door of his sister’s cell.
“Vader! Now I shall avenge my sister and my father,” Luke used the Force to reach his light sabre.
They started to fight and Vader managed to sever Luke’s right hand. Luke lost his weapon.
“You are defenceless now, young Skywalker. But fear not. I don’t wish to kill you. I see Obi-Wan has trained you well. I will complete your training.”
“Never! You killed my father!”
“Is that what Obi-Wan has told you? I am your father.”
“Noooo!”
“Yes, join me Luke and you will be more powerful than any Jedi. We will rule the Galaxy as father and son.”
Luke didn’t answer. He simply stepped into the void. But he was lucky. He was picked up by the Millennium Falcon. Using the Force, the crew managed to get away and landed on a remote moon where Lando Calrissian, Captain Solo’s friend has had a mining facility.

Shortly after landing Lando Calrissian was checking on his guests. He wanted to see how Luke Skywalker was doing. He has just received a new, mechanical hand.
Luke’s cabin was locked and Lando used his master override key. Inside the cabin, he found young Kuciwalker dead. Apparently struck with a sabre. His own.
How can a Jedi be killed with his own sabre? Maybe Luke Skywalker wasn’t really a Jedi.
