If Ming wants to start that one up again, he's welcome. The fact is that he spent the entire thread attacking a straw man and failing to answer questions that were put to him.

As I've said before, I consider it a badge of honour to be the target of some of Poly's more comical posters (especially the Libertarians). None of you have a clue. Jesus I ince had to spend about 20 posts explaining to Sky basic logical concepts like validity and the appeal to authority.... and I didn't even get paid.

I don't bother so much any more because it just gets boring.

That argument won't work with me, since I think the constitution sucks.

My point was more general: about the "privatization" of racism and sexism. In other words racists and sexists finding "stealth" ways of keeping black people and women down by removing the discrimination to "private" spheres.

I don't care about racists or sexists. I don't think they have the right to be racist or sexist, and should be hounded by the law as far as is practically possible.

Does that make me a Stalinist? I don't think so. But it's not an inconsistent position.
