Mainly, I've been playing a lot of Neverwinter Nights, mostly online.

Aside from that, not much lately. My main non-civ and non-work activity of late has actually been reading books, a mixture of fiction and non-fiction.

I guess I'm just waiting for another good game to come out... until then, I'll just engross myself more often in books except for my play of NWN online and trying to keep my remaining Civ3 PBEM games moving. ":shrugs::

I figure I'll give WoW a shot when it comes out - we'll see.

I'm now playing games in Civ 3 Conquest, Civ 2 gold, Civ 2 TOT, CTP, CTP2, Rise of Nation, Empires D of the MW, EE., not at the same time of course. On my other computer I was playing a game of TTDLX and reading Apolyton on this computer. Last night I was playing Colonize on my other computer.

Rallisport Challenge 2 for Xbox. It's rallycross racing (dirt and hillclimb and stuff) and it's the best racing game ever IMO.

You need to try the demo of Dominions II (here ). I have blown more hours on this game than, well, pretty much anything. Even SMAC didn't have this many options.

Yeh, at least I'm playing the game at expert now. I feel like I wasted Thief 1 playing it on normal

I have Thief gold now however. Any noticeable changes. Any particular new stuff that I should absolutely check out?
I know about the Thief compound being a tough level, is that the only new addition?

There are four extra missions and many of the missions have some slight changes to them. Beyond that...?
I'll have to get a copy of Thief Gold for myself sometime.

I've only played Thief Gold. IIRC there are very few additions, of mixed quality. It's certainly better to play Gold if you haven't played before, but not really worth getting it for a replay.

I'm currently playing Doom3 and Morrowind. though I may start up a civ3 game in a few weeks, or SMAC. who knows. I'm not done with NWN yet either, but for now I have to finish the 2 games I mentioned first.

i just started playing homm3 and thief 2. both for the first time i might add. heh. really enjoying homm3 even if i'm finding the campaigns not as well done as 2. all the scenarios make up for that though as they are great. the ai also seems quite a bit better.

just played thief 2 a little bit(still on the first level, which i want to explore as it seems bigger than it should be for my objectives). i was surprised how hard it was for a quaker. totally the opposite of what my instincts wanted me to do. it's going to take a while to get used to the gameplay. what i'm finding most hard is matching the maps with the levels as they are usually so dark it's hard to match features.
