Let me ask u a question smacksim :

In this fast lane game - are u able to freely contact between your 2 factions willy nilly...

ie - that each time u click on the contacts buttton, it will appear UoP (if ur Gaian) and vice versa?

i think darsnan, that what i mean is that - although i could trade for the once off occasion... its the rest of the game i'm thinking about.... if i have NO CONTACTS even after we have discussed pact etc. then isn't this a problem???

OK I've resent the first turn for Fastlane to Smacksim. This now has the two Factions Pacted with each other from the start, and so shouldn't be a problem anymore regarding whether you have "contact" or not.....

np. Sometime along send me your alphax.txt file, as I think there is where your problem lies (there is a line there regarding contacting others in PBEM, and I think the flag for yours is toggled to the "no contact" position).

Save your lauds until after you've played the game. This is actually turning out to be a rather difficult (and enjoyable) game, as I've currently made it my SP game and am continueint to play it out to see what happens.

Is that too cruel? I'm already cringing @ Spartans industry. Giving you Drones means 10 years with no research. Should we just pick factions normally, or are you up for this? (Maybe it's my headache....ouch).
