there is hardly any WW in pbem for some reason. you can even play as a democracy and have few problems for a long time.

i had only 3 turns of anarchy also. and in another game as russia, i just changed gov't with only 3 turns. interesting.

I've seen heavy WW in some pbems, that was ptw btw, and standard maps. I'm not sure if ww-tresholds are map dependent though... If not, we could continue warring into the next age without seeing any at all.

Maybe time to consider a new government for me as well?

I realized I forgot the report in my mail *after* I turned of my comp for the night, as no units were lost and the effect on the army was observable I just thought 'Oh well' and went to bed.

I need all the artillery I can lay my hands on. Jshelr has been busy preparing his defences; hill cities with walls, forts, roads, and all that jungle that slow me down.


I am actually at the point where I think it may be smarter to drop the conquering part(which may not even be possible) and take the slow road to domination. Jshelr will never get over 20% of the territory unless he do something drastic. After all, closing him in where he is now is much easier than breaking through his defences...
