Hmm, let's see.

When I was facing the same problem some 2 years ago, I took part in the mafia game in the Other Games forum. It's a thread where you can spam as much as you like making theories about who the murderer is and accusing people. You don't even have to play in the game to post there, that's the beauty of it.

I increased my post count to the level required for an avatar in just 2 weeks.

Also, if you post in teh private demo game forums, you can increase the post count dramatically and in fact stay on topic.

Bear in mind that what you're doing may actually reduce your post count if the mods notice it.
