May I ask what is the raison d'etre for this game? Is it just a race to Transcendence? Everyone is pacted with everyone else, with just 1 pretty weak AI left.

Was it set up as an experimental game? A training game?

Sorry to pose these questions, but as a newcomer to the game I'm somewhat confused by all the sweetness and light that's everywhere

So was I, now that you mention that. But I assumed the strongest faction, so it works a bit different for me - I _can_ race to transcendence. All the same I find the diplomatic situation in the game a bit funny...

this said, when I came in I was told that it was kept friendly to give the newcomer I replaced a learning chance... But then I suddenly 'enhanced' the Federation a bit...
