Hey, just got back from tonight's Chris Isaak concert in Perth. Man, that guy is a fantastic performer.....brilliant with the audience, versatile on stage. A mark of a great performer is he can reproduce his studio sound on stage without all the production. Great concert - best I've been to in years!

Anyway, that's my little thumbs up for the good ol' southerner from the U S of A for tonight

I hardly think I could take all civs on at once, old chap. This is not AP we're playing here . Besides which, it doesn't matter how many attack points my units have if they drown after being burnt alive by your ships of fire

With the high cost of Berserkers and my Aqueduct-deprived production abilities, I'll be lucky to produce one every 10 turns!

FYI, if you haven't been following the discussion....the consensus seems to be that Berserkers (and Marines) get an attack bonus of 25% when attacking amphibiously.....so attack of 7.5 from a ship.

ah, "only" 25%... "only" 7.5 against 3.75 defence pikemen (fortified in small cities). that's "only" a 2-in-1 chance of HP-victory so "only" about a 85% victory chance for each veteran attacker.

After decades of searching, I still have not found an Iron source anywhere near my lands. Just how many are on this map? I can only see 2 - Sabre's and GC's.....but I'm sure Kloreep has one somewhere too.

says the guy with the 7.5 amphibious attack (i know, i know, i keep repeating myself ... but it's true) who cares about 3-attack 2-movers on this map. i consider them "portable shields" (10 shields each). at least SoZ won't be obsolete too soon at our current tech pace

End of turn crash makes me think it's actually caused by something rather than corruption that's gotten in to the file.

IIRC there can be problems with diplomacy treaties ending. Anyone remember the details on that? We had the PTWDG I stuck on a diplo crash for the longest time...

I'm an idiot. I didn't think to check my own diplomacy. It looks like Kloreep-Sabre and Kloreep-Aqua diplo both got corrupted; I can scroll down in the Active screen for both of them, but there's nothing there, just blank space.

Anyway, declaring war on you two seems to work; the turn didn't crash, at east. I sent you guys peace accepted too, so don't worry when you see that.

This is starting to feel like the PTWDG with all the fake wars...
