Go demand a raise or you'll quit. When they look at you in shock give them the option that enabling you to access 'poly in your lunch breaks will do. I'm sure they'll let you then.

No, Fish Doctor.
Dauphin works in an aquatic hospital.
And a lot of good work he does too.
I'm possibly about to have a similar problem. At the moment we have a local server based about five metres from my desk (it's good to have the air conditioning), and another server based in Holland. And we get 2 PCs to run the different programs on. Before anyone says anything, yes it is a really dumb thing to do, and any normal company who didn't have a corporate deal with Dell would just get 2 network cards for a single machine, but things aren't normal here. Anyhoose, the local IT wallah doesn't give a toss what you look at on-line, provided that images from same can be posted at 'poly without Ming minding (if only that was the criterion he used. ) so I can browse 'poly pretty much all day between pieces of work. Unfortunately, the Dutch IT gurus are far more hardline and will kick my ass if I spend all day at 'poly (yet again). This may not happen straight away, and I'm looking for a new job anyway, but it would be nice to either have your own business or just work in rah's office (or something). I bet he's a decent manager really.
In fact, it would be really nice to be a student again. And not just for the easy tail, as our Pond-opposite friends might say.
