You are referring to the DPRK's embarassing excuse of a leader, not the USA's embarassing excuse of a leader ... right?

Put an end to popups!

I'm beginning to think Bush is winning the election because he keeps telling Americans they are winning the war in Iraq and many voters desperately want to believe him.

Oh but AH, we already won the war in Iraq. We just have to take care of the remains of the insurrection.

Well Kerry really ****ed it up. That's all there is to it. I sometimes think that it's some how set up for Bush to win. I mean Kerry can't be the best candidate to oppose him.

Of course we are winning the war, if we use realistic military expectations.

Not my fault your requirements for success is zero casualties and one million dollars spent.

Do you really have to ask why we can't get rid of him? His father founded the country and created a brutally effective brain-washing state that convinces the people that the Dear Leader is a hero. He also has the undying devotion of the army, as he showers them with perks while the people starve. And we can't get rid of him through international pressure because of his nuclear weapons. The Sunshine Policy isn't helping to rachet up the pressure, either. Face it, North Korea is stuck with the Dear Leader for a long time to come...

At the time of the primaries, Dean was a favorite. Kerry won the primaries because he was felt to have the highest electability among all.

Why do you think the Democratic candidate is that bland right now, despite the presence of a flamboyant Dean at the primaries?

Did you read Kerry's platform? It's all for the middle-class. I haven't noticed much a conservative would disagree with, except the blame put on Dear Leader.

Highly unlikely. But then again, a candidates "platform" is largely meaningless anyway. Once they're in office, they ignore it at will, knowing that the public's attention span isn't long enough to bother them in the next election.

I mean, seriously. The guy seems to have a lock on the polls, and he's got a huge cheering section that shouts down anybody who disagrees with him by calling them traitors and unpatriotic.

It's quite evident that most people don't really like him, but kinda don't have a choice, because admittedly, he was passed the mantle by the party from the Great Leader. Who can argue with that? The Great Leader did rebuild the country's confidence, industry, and economy, triumphing over the evil empire. Who's to say that some of that magic didn't rub off on the Dear Leader, the anointed one?

But face it. He's just not good for the country, and yet the party refuses to see that, and neither do those rabid personality cultists.

It's a huge tragedy, I suppose.

Q Cubed, according to the polls, Republicans are almost fanatic about Bush -- almost as much as Democrats are fanatic, but in the opposite direction. This election is indeed about Bush and a somewhat generic Democrat.
