I say it's quite normal. People have different feelings at times, frustrations and angers and others. Some choose to act it out, and others choose to play it in their minds. By exaggerate these feelings sometimes they feel thrilled. It's called fatasizing. Only different people fatasize different things. It doesn't necessarily mean that he is a killer in hiding.

If you don't feel like fighting then just tell him that, tell him that you are going to call the police, and tell him that it's a felony assualt to wait for someone somewhere to beat them up.
