It was a Homer Simpson type "mmm".

Last I knew of it I sent it to Masuro, but he did make a comment about a city becoming a better shade of yellow, so I assume he sent it on to Paddy.

I have the turn

and as you may be aware I am not at home this week

I am on a laptop that is operating version 1.22

yet is not opening all games which is strange

I am not sure what is going on

here is a screenshot of what is coming up, then the Civ program closes down

any ideas?

Hmmm......perhaps some of the files have been corrupted and cannot be accessed, causing the crash? How old is the install on your laptop?

Hmm, I'm tired of founding cities. I'd rather do a scenario where the cities are all done or the nation is very well developed and there is some room for expansion. Like Rise of Rome. I think the Seven Wonders of the World scenario is similar, no? A number of cities already built and room to expand?

No, that's the Mesopotamia conquest. You don't start with cities, but IIRC you get about 3 settlers.

But in any case.....the early game of REXing is where the game is won and lost, so I enjoy it th emost
