Chapter III
The protesting Duke of Eastern Bohemia, Theben, was dragged to the square and beheaded.

Spymaster Ljube-ljcvetko shook his head. "It's a conspiracy to destroy the roayal lineage", he told DarkCloud who was listening with great earnest.
"But why?"
"Probably some cultist revolutionaries trying to dismantle the royal house and the very aristocracy! Such a ludicrous goal, yet with the things going on the way they are..."
"But if they are, as you say, so infiltrated in the entourage that they can execute people by a mere vote, certainly there is little that can be done about it?"
"To the contrary, the more conspirators, the more likely it is that they make a mistake that'll blow their little scheme wide open. Just you wait."

"Lord Reismark, what shall I do"? asked Jonny, the Food Taster. "With the King dead, I no longer have a job."
"Ah, true." Reismark looked around the dining room. "The fireplace has died out. I hereby nominate you the Keeper of the Fireplace, until further notice." He noticed Jonny's grim look. "It's not exactly a promotion, but you have to do something. At least you won't have to indulge in Whoha's cooking any longer."
Jonny shrugged and sighed.
Ben Kenobi, the Archbishop, stormed to the room. "Lord Reismark! Please tell me something. Have we discovered the weapon with which the King was murdered yet? It could provide us valuable information."
Reismark slapped his forehead. "We had forgotten all about it! I must go to Skanky and have him arrange a search of the premises and the woods."

"Well this is interesting", DrSpike said having returned to his crude autopsy. "Look at that."
"Sir?" asked Hercules, guarding the door once more.
"The tendons in the King's arms, they are strained to the point of breaking. There's also a lot of bleeding inside his arms and some bruising. It's as if he's gone through a great effort of strength while dying... immeasurable strength. But the King was meek, even for a boy", DrSpike pondered out loud. "Something does not quite add up. Unless..."
"Unless?"
"... unless this was what a colleague of mine described as 'hysterical strength'. Its a way to explain the tale of a shocked mother managing to move a huge rock that has been lodged over her son. The human body can do extraordinary things, but only under extreme mental duress. Obviously dying after being stabbed is such a situation - but what was he trying to do?"

Despite careful canvassing of the inn and the surroundings of the King's murder scene, the presumed dagger that was used to kill him could not be found.
The people went in for a night's sleep, but in early morning a scream echoed across the inn. Nikolai's stabbed body lay in an eerily familiar place in the dining room, and, said DrSpike after a cursory look at the wound, killed with the same weapon as the King.
"I don't think I can ever have an appetite in this chamber again", Tuberski sighed.

So, I never did that as Mafia. It's easy to set up a kill queue, and when I was Mafia, I only spent about 30 mins a day on Poly.

I voted for you, since I didn't want to vote for Tehben, and I didn't want to vote for Sparrow.
