It's not quite what you think...

Every Friday night at my place, I host a gaming meet.
Rah, Jrabbit, and a few other people come over.

Rah usually plays Civ with who ever he can find on line, while the rest of play other types of games... board games... pinball... watch sports... all of which include a lot of drinking.

If we don't have enough people to do something, we can also play Civ with Rah and who ever else he found on line. I have Multiple connections to the internet in my basement, and we have two other laptops we can use besides my primary computer. So some nights, three of in the game will be playing in the same room, and usually with others on the net.

A good time is usually had by all

What "side" of Chicago do you live on, you dont need to nail down a burb, we can do that via PM if Im available.

My inlawas are on the southside near the 90-94/80 split, you know that huge interchange they are rebuilding right now.

I could almost toss a rock from the mother in laws to that interchange

I own most of the Avalon Hill Board games But not really... those usually would take far more than a single nite of playing... especially with the ammount we drink.

We do play Rail Baron...

Unfortunately, we are on the North Side. My brother and I live in Buffalo Grove, about 30 miles Northwest of the city... East of where 53 ends, and West of the I294/I94 Junction.

I'm all messed up, I started seeing a chiro this week. The short version is I have to spend less time on the computer and more in bed with a heating pad until it gets better. He told me my posture while on the computer was prolonging my back injury so I did some re-arranging and it hurts just sitting here. I gotta get me a recliner...anyway, I'm hoping to be back next week.

thx Rah, I gotta recliner now. It's amazing what can be found in all the stuff we accumulate over the years. Its even got a heating element, 2 vibrators, and a roller for the spine...It's Heaven! At least I can now handle being online a few hours without aggravating my injury. I've learned some about spinal alignment over the week and have much more respect for stretching before golf.

I am glad the West Coast Bear Claws worked out, admittedly i felt stupid when i brought them with me, but on the guidance of my girlfriend and her mother, of course it worked out. Takes a woman to know the
charms of other women i guess.


Hell i still think about all the fun i had on that trip , and just mentioned it to some friends the other day. Seems like only yesterday.
