I feel that the posters in the old days were really more interesting types than the people that rushed into Apolyton once CtP and Civ3 came out. The old farts were all real civ buffs.

"Gunner" is a nickname from my basketball days... someone who shoots first, passes second.

One of my degrees is in geography. East Asia was my area of concentration...so I selected "Shogun" for a title instead of "King", "Lord", or such.... It's Civ after all!!!!

Vel got me here, through Google.

Given the subject matter, I guess, I wanted something ancient sounding... Aeson, Arrian, and Velociryx were all huge influences too, so that was my aim. If I had had the opprotunity, I would have gone with Leonidas first, but some none-active had grabbed it.

'Poly was and has definitely been my entree to the online community world... I am very happy with that, and have embraced being Theseus, me.
