2123 to Cyborgs. Sorry about the delay, had to get multiple job applications out to transfer out of my division in the FAA, as of October I no longer have a job. I even sent to two 10 page applications to Alaska - to quote my little girl, as she pulls her arms into her body and says "cold".

Sorry about the abscence - I just got out of hospital. My cocktail of blood pressure drugs caused some really serious heart arrythmia, and I managed to get to the hospital before I went into ventricular fibrillation (it scared the sh*t out of my wife when they had to restart me). They've changed my drugs, and I seem to be OK. I am taking it very easy. My little girl loves having daddy home. I figured you would have replaced me, but since you haven't I'd like to try to stay in this one since I've been here since the start.

Wow. Talk about perspective. Take care of yourself.
This game has been my first PBEM SMAX experience. Kind-of a downer, in that it's been soooo slowwww (no complaints against anyone here, I think 5 players is a bit much, but I'm used to playing 2 player PBEM CMBB or SC (and they have many pieces on the board at start and to move each turn while SMAX starts out so slow). I just keep plugging along but I can't say I'm really having fun yet :-)

I hate to say it, but my guess is that we need to replace. It's been weeks since I've heard from Shawn in any of the games I have with him... the only solace we can take is that one of us might actually have a chance of winning (seriously, he's amazing).
It's probably best to ask for a replacement. Thanks for bumping, Googlie.
