I'd suggest you go to Japan, drink sake, walk around, try to make schoolgirls laugh, be the stupid american but still polite and well meaning, check out some stores, buy some herbs, sing karaoke, talk to people in bar (they're more shy than you anyway), try to find TEH coolest arcade place ever, eat noodles and eat local foods, try some sushi and try to catch a yakuza with your camera.

OR if you insist europe, go to Amsterdam, get wasted, get wasted, get wasted and get wasted. The locals love it. Be loud. Go to Austria, check out the alps, ski few slopes, drink lots of good beer, eat wienershczhintzschel and end it up in southern france zipping wine and in the beach, shout rude things to posh ladies.
