On the other hand, 30 might be a bit hard to attain, and we'd almost need three Mafia for that game. We'll be better off with the standard 24, methinks. Unless someone opposes a little experimenting?

True. All Mafia would also have to provide a default kill list of at least three or four people to make sure the Mafia can't lag the game, and have the voting close at 24 hours sharp.

There is, of course, the problem of me having to do a write-up every 24 hours.

Thinking about it... last time someone did a check to see who has won (or even just played) which mafia games, only me and Skanky Burns (IIRC) have played ALL mafia games... and IIRC Skanky missed one single game, so I'm the only player who has actually played in all mafia games on this forum

I could pull off a long story, but that will mean veering the "mental asylum" theme a bit to the "nigh-absurd horror" direction. It will also mean that clues won't be quite as plentiful as before.

Three mafia could get quite confusing and it would take at least 6 deaths for a real pattern to emerge. For those killed or executed it then becomes quite a long wait for the next game.
