Turn 7: UberAllies Halted in their Tracks!
Meanwhile, at the secret evil lair of Sparrow and Kassi:
"Who's our next winner... err, victim?"
Kassi glances at the list and responds, "It's Exodus's turn to die. I'll launch three nukes at him, you launch two."
"I understand."
The next day...
Sparrow sits in his command chair, ready to launch the attack. The two nukes were in the silo, ready to go. Sparrow pressed the Big Red Button... and he pressed it again and again. Nothing. The only thing appearing on his display was a dreaded 'blue screen of death':
"Microsoft NukeCommand has encountered a fatal error and is unable to continue. You should have used a Mac, sucker.
Yours, Hercules"
The espionage efforts of Hercules were successful. Kassi also experienced a similar error, due to the sabotage of Shogun Gunner. Thus, Exodus escaped all damage.
Meanwhile, The Alliance would finally be receiving nukes for once, as Shogun launched 3 nukes at Kassiopeia, and Exodus launched 2 nukes at Sparrow.
At the same time, Hercules begins his rebuilding efforts, building the city of Hope.

Turn 8: There's a Spy in my War Room!
(not much time for a story tonight, so it will be brief)
We start off with the only news not involving nuclear destruction and the intriguing world of Espionage: Hercules built the city of Snowdrop.
The other 4 leaders all tried to launch nukes... but thanks to their equally active espionage activities, only 1 of them actually succeeded in destroying anything.
Kassi tried to launch 3 nukes at Exodus again, but spies from both Hercules and Exodus were there to thwart the launch attempts in multiple ways.
Shogun tried to fire 3 nukes at Sparrowhawk, in an attempt to finish him off, but a spy from Kassiopeia damaged the guidance systems, resulting in the missiles flying harmlessly into space.
Sparrowhawk tried to launch 2 nukes at Exodus again, but a spy from the Shogun resulted in another computer crash for his launch systems.
Exodus, on the other hand, launched 2 nukes at Kassiopeia without incident, destroying his last two cities of Laudatur and Eximia.

Turn 9: Finally some Peace and Quiet
Hercules built a new city for the 3rd turn in the row, this time building the city Rainbow. He has now nearly completed his comeback to 5 cities.
Meanwhile, Exodus decided that Sparrowhawk must die, and sent 2 nukes at him, in an effort to nearly finish him off. Fortunately for Sparrow, he had opted to in a bunker this turn, and the nukes hit harmlessly.
Shogun, on the other hand, forwent the option to launch nukes, and instead worked on secret projects.
Which one of these 4 will be the winner? Stay tuned...
