Finally - got some extra time. My apologies for the delay in getting this going, and for being a bit snarky about it earlier.

The game is up and running. The starts, if mine is any indication, will be ... a challenge. But that was what the game was supposed to be about.

This will undoubtedly sound dumb but: what exactly does a "silent" PBEM entail? I'm assuming no communication between or among players is allowed other than by in-game diplomacy interface. Is that right?

Beta in a few other silent PBEMs:

And Rommel is correct, that we have not kept to the pure letter of the law. A bit of trash talking always creeps in, as long as it does not give away anything substantive that is happening in the game.
