There are a handful of MI MOSs. When I was in 96B was Order of Battle Specialist. I picked it up as a secondary MOS through correspondence courses. My primary was another MI MOS, 98G which is Intercept Operator. 98C was Intercept Analyst.

I thought that all officers had to have a Top Secret clearance, while enlisted had varying clearances depending on their positions. I had a Top Secret SCI clearance when I was in due to my MOS being about intercepts. That created some difficulty for some of my classmates who couldn't meet the requirements and ended up having to take another MOS like interrogators etc. I was glad that I've been a pretty good boy in life generally and hadn't ever been caught specifically.

When I took it 150 was max. You needed to average at least 120 to get in to Psyops plus they wanted you to pass the DLAB so they could send you to language school in Monterrey.

Congratulations.

Blue colour blind? That'll be tough trying to read tactical maps. Its always easier to provide analysis when you can compare blue and red force positions.

Actually blue red wasn't one of the problems. It was mostly the redish and greenish and related colors. So map reading will be a problem, but telling the forces apart will be ok. I can still tell things apart on a map, it could just take a bit longer. Hopefully I'll be able to wing it until I won't have to worry too much about land nav anymore.

I know in 1995 it wasn't. You could get 150 in several areas.

BTW you have to qualify on land nav twice per year but normally they use the same areas so after a few years you start to memorize the marker numbers and can cheat.

Well, just qualifying is not too hard. You don't even need to find all of the nav points. I can keep a pace count well and use a compass so don't really mess up there. And I can move fairly quickly. I'm just saying I won't really excel.
