But there's nothing that isn't "honest" about what MRT is doing. I don't see any deception going on, and AFAIK it's not illegal to make porn movies. That a large section of the population may find his job distasteful is irrelevant. Most people probably look upon politicians worse.

The porn business can be damn exploitative, it's true. But there are also tons of people out there who really want to do it and enjoy doing it. Some people are just into exhibitionism, and if they can get paid to do it, more power to them.

Re: background checks. I doubt these will show up for MRT, unless maybe he pursues a job with the FBI or CIA. Companies typically only do reference checks, and MRT would likely not be using this company as a reference. Criminal background checks (usually done by a 3rd party company) obviously wouldn't show anything, since he's not doing anything illegal.

And as was pointed out, the odds of him being recognized on the street will be extremely low. There are literally thousands of porn sites out there with tens of thousands of actors. None but the most prolific of porn actors are easily recognized on the street.

So have fun, MRT. You're probably fulfilling many a person's secret wish.

For example we have something over here called the 'co-operative bank', one of their mandates is to not invest their customers money in weapons companies etc.
I believe(like christians 'believe' ), that either we will move into a more 'ethicaly' motivated future, or we will destroy ourselves first.

All our decisions in life have a repercussion - something MRT+self biased have probably thought about much more thoroughly, in a moral sense, than 90% of the guys in the london stock exchange for example.

I'm just saying judging others is a tricky buisness, no?
