If the zoo really want to cheese the protestors off they should announce that if the penguins don't breed they'll be put down and replaced by more functional male penguins.

"BERLIN-The Director of the Bremerhaven Zoo prompted much speculation today when he announced, to great fanfare, that his staff had come up with a 'final solution' to the park's nonbreeding penguin problem.

"'We intend to sequester these individuals in a secure location for the time being, rehabilitating them and simultaneously providing greater living space for the superior, breeding population,' Director Heike Kueck read early this morning.

"Asked about complaints from animal and gay rights activists, Kueck would only reply, 'Lies! Filthy Slander against our ideals by subversives and dissidents!'"
