I'm on a Stones binge right now, and I have to emphatically disagree. You don't need any deeper meaning, etc. for a simple song to be magnificent. Like their cover of Suzie Q; it's extremely simple, but just so deliciously bad-ass.

Deja vu.

I think I'll just leave it at "I'm not a Stones fan."

I guess it's harder for you to relate to, have you ever even had a long-term relationship? The song is pretty worthless if you can't get inside it.

The soundtrack to "The Flying Doctors" is pumping out from the editing booth next to me, over and over, because one of the reporters decided it'd be appropriate for the news segment he's currently editing.

I'm all about the music, Imran.

I'm willing to give everything a chance.

A country artist can do a great job covering a rock song.

I like some Willie Nelson songs as well...then again, the songs of his I like are the ones he got Rob Thomas to write for him (like Maria (Shut up and Kiss Me)).

Johnny Cash's version of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt is pretty good, it's better than the original imo.

Yeah, it's really awesome. However, the original is really good as well! I try to have everyone realize that the NIN version was incredible as well. It was especially striking because of the type of music Nine Inch Nails plays (Industrial Rock).

as usual, I'm listening to my Cox Cable digital music station.

Right now it is The Trooper by Iron Maiden. A Biohazard song just finished.

They play a good mix between old and new metal.

Ramstein Mein Tell on right now.

cool song. I only bought the one album Sen Such (or whatever it was called). But they still are putting out pretty good music.

Why does german sound so cool in music? I think more bands should sing in german.

Prokofiev is on! Romeo and Juliet ballet suite, which is headed up by the uber-famous March of the Montagues and Capulets (to which John Williams paid "homage" with the Imperial March from Star Wars: ESB).
