well
woke up and did the morning routine before bringing baby Flub to daycare and on to work for me. Two boring meetings early and I surfed poly while on a conference call that never seemed to end ( There are usually parts that are irrelevant to me). Took our team to lunch at a place with hot waitresses. Afternoon was routine document drafting.
Picked up baby flubber and went home to a great roast beef dinner. had playtime and bath time with baby flubber and put him to bed. Watched one hour of tely and had a couple of hours of good discussion with the missus about a major career opportunity.
That was yesterday.
Today . . got up and surfed poly before heading out . . .

Snuck out of work an hour early. It was snowing giant snowflakes. Steady but silent. Nothing was sticking to the ground. Got on the train and took the 75 minute ride home. The 2:55 train is very quiet compared to the 4:35 rush hour train. I was able to sleep the whole way back - almost slept past my destination. Drove home from the station as the giant snowflakes fell relentlessly downward, blowing in all directions but never sticking to the ground. Pulled into my driveway, got out of the car and headed toward the mailbox. The neighborhood was empty and very quiet and with the snow falling the way it was, I felt like I was inside one of those toys with the liquid and white confetti inside that you shake up. Then I noticed, coming up the middle of the street near my mailbox, a small young woman pushing a stroller with a little baby inside. Not an unusual sight, but for some reason I could not stop looking at her. As I picked up my mail and tried not to notice her all alone inside this snow toy with me, she passed by me and walked out of sight. It then hit me like a ton of bricks - I'm in my late 30's and I never made it a priority to get married and have kids. And I realized that I want to get married and have kids - my own kids - but the time for that may have passed me by. As I entered my huge empty house I felt my heart racing. I played Xbox for half an hour and then watched some porno for another half an hour. I went to the gym and worked out for 1.5 hours. Came back, thought about calling one of my girlfriends but decided instead to play Xbox for another hour. Then I fell asleep..

True I could have been more creative but instead I went for truthful-- and guess what-- I really enjoyed my day so for me there was no "lamenting their dull lives"-- It was a routine day but even routine days can be fun |
Maybe Gepap is afraid to tell the truth about his life.

let's see.....
Sounds like you're saying that had I not dropped out, I wouldn't of had an unproductive day (but still would of eaten way too much cereal and farted alot) -ie. implying that "more" high school graduates do not have any unproductive days. |
Not quite-- I bet everyone has "unproductive days"-- I know I do ( although my most unproductive days are behind me-- no parent can be totally "unproductive" with their time)
But statistically a high school graduate is more likely to be unemployed less and also to make more money from their employment than those that did not graduate high school--- Hence more of their farting would be performed while also being "productive" ( in the sense of earning income"
Edit-- and I have no idea as to anything about your personal circustance-- For all I know you had a "unproductive day" as a rest day after working 10 straight 12 hour shifts
