A friend of mine had a Fiat and was driving, when he suddenly noticed that the paint on the hood was bubbling. He stopped and quickly got out. The car burned out before the fire department arrived.

A couple years back, a Chicago bear was driving down the road and saw a burning car. He saw someone still in the car, and went to help. It was Bunnygrrl's cousin in the car, so damn drunk he couldn't even register what was happening. He was just sitting there as his car burned. He was rescued, and ticketed when the police arrived. Bunnygrrl's grandmother (who always babied the boy, even though he's basically a waste of space) only made the comment that she told him not to be drivin' no jalopies.

Update: just had the car explored by the insurance co - they said they most probably will pay out the full policy amount and take the whole pile of junk to recycling THEMSELVES. I love my insurance co! (never thought I'd say that )

It depends on how warm the tires are, how good the assfault is, and how good the driver is but the fastest 0-60mph time I found was 5.9 seconds flat and a 0-100 mph time of 14.8 seconds. Honda also offers a complete line of aftermarket parts including a turbo kit with intercooler along with break and suspension upgrades for the S2000 with their stage 1 package being factory installed (on special orders) for an additional $4995. It doesn't even void the warrenty though I'm not sure exactly how much faster it makes the car. It does up the max horse power to 320HP (from 240HP)which is damn good for such a small car.

Of course the two seater really shines in the turns.
