“Erin, the chatter across the board is at an all time high … almost everyone sounds like they’re working on something …” says Edgar, in a panicky voice.
“Why do these fools keep doing it? All they have to do is STOP FIRING NUKES and they’d all survive … why can’t we convince them?” Erin is pretty shaken by this announcement. “Can we stop them?”
“No, I don’t think so … perhaps one, or two, but … not the whole thing. It looks like the relative peace of the past hour was just the calm before the storm …” Sarah comments as she furiously runs numbers. “Perhaps … perhaps one thing we can do … but it’s pretty dangerous. And Jack hasn’t come back yet from his last mission …”
“Well … what can we do?”
“How about sending someone to Easter Sunday Island? Or Emotion? Both could use the help …” says Heller as he grasps at straws.
“Nope … both are doomed. No more protection available, really, not in this short an amount of time.” Edgar is often pessimistic, but in this case entirely accurate.
“What about Nashville?”
“Nope, that won’t work either; their protective bunkers are cracked from the last barrage. They haven’t a chance, either.”
“And Dinner Table?”
“Well, they could … no, they’ve already done what they can. It sounds like they’re going to try and deflect their incoming strikes, but only one missile needs to get through …”
“Can anyone stop the launches, then?” as Heller is finding the straws mighty slippery …
“Only one man can …” says Erin wistfully …
“Who’s that?” says Jack, as everyone else’s jaws drop.

“Jack! You’re back!” shouts Erin. “Okay, let’s get this thing going then …”
“Sorry Erin, but this time even I can’t do anything about it. Look at those missile launches … Pirate is sending missiles at four different nations! What am I supposed to do about that? I think I’m going to sit this one out, and see if there’s anything I can do when the dust clears…”
“Jack, you can’t just … let these people die!” says Sarah, obviously upset. “You have to do something!”
“Sarah, I’m not getting myself killed for nothing … what could you do here? You have all the info right in front of you. There’s just not enough time.”

And as he says that, the nukes start to fly.
Temperature sends two at Emotion, and as Emotion counters by relocating one city, Ruin, the third nuke comes in from Pirateland.
Kuciland sends two at Easter Sunday Island, and again, a third city – Easter Monday – is constructed in response, but again, Pirateland finishes the job.
River sends a pair at the land of Nuclear, and finishes off “Die”. The secret orders undertaken by that leader are no longer relevant, and are forgotten.
In a fit of despair, the leader of Tennessee fires a pair of nukes at Dinner Plate; both leaders are ironically killed by a single nuke, as one incoming from Pirate hits Nashville just as the one nuke hits Cup. The other nuke from Tennessee is deflected toward River, destroying Huang He.
A fourth nuke from Pirateland hits the Yangtze, completing the action of that day. Only one (surviving) nation undertakes secret orders, that of 1337land.

Ok, i'm doing a normal update for this one
We're down to 2 players, anyway.
Kassi: sends 2 @ Sparrow, killing Sparrow
Sparrow: sends 2 @ Jaguar
Spaced: Sends 1 @ jaguar and 3 @ Kuci, killing both
Jaguar + Kuci do secret things while their cities burn ...
Spaced and Kassi are left.
